BBVA/DVA hospitals share a philosophy of providing pets and their owners with the best possible veterinary care. Our wellness planning encourages vigorous health in every pet and supports pet owners with information and resources designed to enhance their ownership experience.

The special bond with our animal companions is based upon a commitment to whole pet care and to good health, enriching every area of life for both pet and owner. Regular veterinary exams maintain and support pet health, allowing for early diagnosis and treatment of disease and minimizing or avoiding long-term consequences. Whatever age or pet type, we offer veterinary care that treats the whole pet and is tailored to fit your needs and lifestyle.

We recommend most pets receive a wellness exam twice annually, more often if there is a chronic or debilitating disease. Your pet’s health can change quickly and often without visible symptoms in the early stages of a problem. The comprehensive exam is designed to diagnose such developing concerns and address numerous health areas. View the exam chart below for a general outline.

Ears General function, conformation, infections, and infestations
